Fast Charles' Power Hour Episode 6

Gentlemen and Scoundrels, here it is, the next episode of Fast Charles' sometimes funny, sometimes toe-tappingly entrancing, always less than professional Power Hour.

This episode includes a short Lucky Tubb Concert Review with accompanying songs from his new album, a plug for the new Outlaw Radio Compilation Volume 1 (which is excellent) and a track off the latest Guilty Pleasures album.

Also included are tracks by George Jones, Bob Wills, Jerry Lee Lewis, Six-Gun Britt, the Bullets, Guy Clark and more!

Fast Charles' Power Hour Episode 5 - Short Billy Joe Shaver Interview

Long awaited, I know. This is my post-muddy roots episode, though I didn't manage to get through nearly enough of that material in an hour. I got to talk with Billy Joe Shaver before his show at the Muddy Roots and I managed to record some of that interview, though it was backstage and chaotic and the sound quality leaves something to be desired. This episode also includes music by Whitey Morgan and the 78s, Pearls Mahone, Polly Punkneck, Miss Izzy Cox, the Pogues, Waylon Jennings, the Hank and Hank segment, Dale Watson, Kris Kristofferson and others. Enjoy. Episode six will be available shortly.

Addendum/footnote: the Dale Watson song on this album, 'Way Down Texas Way' just shares a title a Billy Joe Shaver tune. This one was not written by him. Forgive my confusion. Its still a great song.

Fast Charles' Power Hour - Episode 4

Alright everyone.
This is an intimate episode, recorded with an actual external mic, so it doesn't sound like I'm transmitting from a submarine.
We've got songs for everyone who loves living free and hard (Buck Owens, Bob Wayne, Hank/Hank, Waylon, Warren, John Dillon, Raconteurs, Johnny Paycheck, The Maddox Brothers and their Sister, Rattler and others that I can't seem to remember suddenly).
